Processing Examples

PP (Polypropylene) Processing Example — Addition Rate: 0.3%

* Compared with conventional antibacterial agents:
• Antibacterial performance is maintained after the water-resistance test.
• Minimal color difference after weathering (low susceptibility to discoloration).

JIS Z 2801

• Water-resistance test: 50 ± 5°C for 16 hours (SIAA antibacterial durability test, water-resistance level 2).
• Weathering test: 8 hours of sunshine carbon-arc lamp exposure.

Transparent ABS Resin Processing Example — Addition Rate: 0.5%

* Compared with conventional antibacterial agents:
• Equivalent antibacterial performance is maintained both initially and after weathering.
• High antibacterial performance is maintained after the water-resistance test.
• Minimal impact on resin transparency.

JIS Z 2801

• Water-resistance test: 50 ± 5°C for 16 hours (SIAA antibacterial durability test, water-resistance level 2).
• Weathering test: 8 hours of sunshine carbon-arc lamp exposure.
